From the ASUS driver download WEB page there are two Promise FastTrak drivers. If you want to run NON RAID drives load the FastTrak 378 ATA V1.00.1.30 driver. I want to add drives to the Promise controller. I know it can run in IDE PATA (not RAID) mode and have done this on another machine.

1)remove the device, scan for new devices (if I let it automatically do its searching, it will "remember that it was WinXP Promise FastTrak 378 controller, and then show an error). Is there a cleaner way to remove the driver and/or add hardware? I'm lost and incredibly confused. Thanks for any suggestions.
