I have installed Windows Vista as a new install on a standard IDE drive. Because I have alot of information on the raid hard drives and I really dont wanna re-install Vista for this one simple issue.
WHen I download ANY drivers for my motherboard (ASUS K8V SE Deluxe) I keep getting the error " The system canot find the file specified"
Looking through the other posts regarding a similar problem, nothing points me to the answer I need. Could someone please help????
Thanks

I have same motherboard and use the same RAID controller. I couldn't install 64-bit Vista because of this controller's drivers, but managed 32-bit version. I either used the ASUS provided drivers www.asus.com or Promise drivers www.promise.com.tw should work. As the guy before me said, choose Windows 2003 drivers.

No luck, I wvwn looked for the 64 bit drivers for it and it still shows the same error. For Windows, it isnt very easy to get this to work......reminds me of the ol 95 days.....
